Duties Module

Configure duty rules, set up duties in your calendars and share with your members. Either let members volunteer, or assign duties as needed, with flexible options to manage swapping and cancelling.

Each user has their own dashboard. Reminder emails are sent out automatically. Monitor responses through the admin reports.

If you also have the Sailing Module, automatically integrate duties into result calculations.

If you also have the Club Management Module, automatically integrate duties with personalised newsletters to your members.

Get Started

Create a new club and pick the "Example Data" option.

Edit this to match your club by following the notes below. These are just a guide, you might want to follow a slightly different order.

Setup duty types and duty templates
Create a new calendar
Import events into the calendar, or add them through the UI (just a few clicks)
Import users, all that is needed is name and email address.
Send invites to your members. Once accepted they can start volunteering.
Alternatively you can also choose to manage the duties on behalf of members, not everyone is comfortable online.
Monitor progress through the admin reports

Calendars are not just for duties. You may also:

Include other event details, pictures and attachments
Make the calendar public (personal duty details are hidden)
Easily share via email and social media.

Duty Types and Templates

Customise for your club using duty types and duty templates.

Create a duty type for each different duty.
Use duty templates to create reusable groups of related duty types.
If you also have the Club Management Module, add skills requirements to your duty types

Easy Volunteering

All members have access to your dashboard from their phone or computer. Volunteering for a duty is a simple click and confirm.

If you also have the Club Management Module, include a "call to action" in your newsletters for unassigned or urgent duties.

Managing Duties

Track progress using the duty reports
Enable the "swapping duties" option to allow members to manage swaps without admin intervention.
Enable the "declining duties" option to allow members to cancel within a grace period.
Assign and cancel duties on behalf of members.
