Swapping of duties allows users to swap with others without involving the duty admins. There is a simple process to follow through the app. It is expected that in most cases there will also be discussions happening on other channels (in person, email, WhatsApp etc.).
Users can arrange a swap with other members using the 'Request Swap' button. They may select up to 5 other members, who will each receive an email. They can accept the request by clicking the link in the email.
Please note that the process does not enforce a reciprocal swap. If Alice requests Bob to take one her duties, there is no need to immediately swap a duty from Bob to Alice. That is for Alice and Bob to manage however they see best.
This is different to declining duties. When declining, the duty goes back into the unassigned pool.
