Rya Py Import
Import from the RYA list
The current RYA PY list can be imported as a starting point.
You must be a Sailing Admin to run the import,
and you must have configured your fleets.
Go to the Sailing Admin page for your club
and pick "Start RYA PY Import" option.
Click the "(Start Importer)" button.
On the import page:
- Card Name - A new PY Handicap card is created with this name
- For each fleet - a PY range
- Lower PY - e.g 1100
- Upper PY - e.g 1200
Click the "(Run Importer)" to complete. This will:
- If not already imported, create a boat class for each boat in the RYA list
- Add a PY handicap for the boat against a fleet if it's PY matches the range of fleet.
- Show a warning for any boat that cannot be matched to a fleet using its PY number.
Please note the following:
- It is safe to rerun this import. A boat class in the official RYA
list will only be created once.
- If you have manually added boat classes, this may cause duplicates as the classID
may not match the classID in official RYA list.
