Fleets Reference Data

Setup fleets as required, depending on how you manage sailing in your club. If you race in a single fleet or class, you will still need a fleet. Fleets are used when creating handicaps, each handicap is linked to a fleet.

Managing Fleets

You must be a Sailing Admin to manage fleets. Go to the Fleets section on the "Sailing Manage Settings" page. This is also available as a link on the "Sailing Admin dashboard".

If you picked the "Example Data" option when you created your club there will already be example fleets. If not, click the Add a Fleet button.

There are two choices when creating a fleet:

• A new fleet. This will need to be added the handicaps
• Combine existing fleets. This combines multiple fleets. Importantly, handicaps are inherited.
