Sharing Calendars

Calendars by shared several ways:

• Download an iCal (ics) file for import.
• Make the calendar public
• Include in the sitemap file (used by Google and other search engine)
• Pick one of the sharing options for a single entry

Download an iCal file

There is download link available on the Calendars Admin page.

This format is widely supported and should work on all devices. Be aware that once the file is imported, users will not be aware of any subsequent changes.

Make the calendar public

Change the visibility to "Public" on the Calendars Admin page.

Public calendars will hide information that is private, for example duty assignments. The visual styling of public calendars can be customised in the Club Settings.

Include in the sitemap file

Public calendars will be included in sitemap.xml, which is used by Google and other search engines if the "Include in sitemap.xml" setting is enable the Club Settings.

Please beware that:

• Being in the sitemap does not guarantee that Google et al will crawl the page
• The search result will appear against the myclub.run domain, not your domain.

There are some SEO options available including custom domain names. These are currently only on request. Please contact Support. A small additional fee may apply.

Share a calendar entry

Every calendar entry has a share options button on the bottom right. This button opens a list of commonly used formats
